What age can my child start?▼
Our Juniors Program is designed for children aged 10–16 years old.
Classes are structured to ensure students learn in a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate environment.
Is Muay Thai safe for Juniors?▼
Yes. Our junior classes focus on:
- Technique
- Coordination
- Fitness
- Confidence
- Discipline
Students are closely supervised and activities are structured according to age and experience. Safety is always our highest priority.
Will my child get hit?▼
For beginners, the focus is on learning skills, movement, balance and control.
As students progress, they may participate in supervised partner drills and sparring exercises that emphasise safety, respect and technical development.
Participation is optional and always guided by our coaches.
Does my child need any experience?▼
Not at all. Many of our students start with no martial arts experience.
Our coaches focus on building strong fundamentals and helping each student progress at their own pace.
My child is shy. Will they fit in?▼
Absolutely. Many students join feeling nervous or shy.
Our coaches work hard to create a welcoming environment where every child feels supported and included.

Is there a joining fee?▼
No. Unlike some martial arts schools, Honour Martial Arts does not charge a joining fee.
You can get started without paying any upfront enrollment costs, making it easy for families to try the program and see if it's the right fit before making a long-term commitment.
What memberships are available?▼
We offer a range of membership options with discounts associated with longer minimum terms.
- 10 Class Pass: $300
Juniors Access Memberships:
- 12 Month Minimum: $70 fortnightly
- 6 Month Minimum: $80 fortnightly
- Fortnightly Minimum: $90 fortnightly
- 6 Months Upfront: $900
- 12 Months Upfront: $1,600

What should my child bring to their first class?▼
For a trial class, simply bring:
- Comfortable training clothes
- A water bottle
- A positive attitude
We have gear your child can borrow and we can advise on any equipment requirements if your child decides to continue training.
How many times per week should my child train?▼
Most students train 1–2 times per week.
Students looking to progress faster often attend 2–4 times per week.
Consistency is more important than intensity.
Can parents watch classes?▼
Yes. Parents are welcome to observe classes and see their child's progress firsthand.
Can my child compete?▼
Competition is optional. Students can enjoy training purely for fitness, confidence, and skill development.
For those interested in competition, we provide additional guidance, pathways and assessment as they progress.
We will only put Juniors into competition with the express consent of their guardian and if they have passed technical requirements to do so.
